3. User Accounts

To use our services, you must:

• Create an account with accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent)
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Use the platform only for lawful purposes
• Respect other users and maintain professional conduct
• Provide accurate information in profiles and listings
• Honor scheduled sessions and commitments
• Not engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activities

5. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors are independent service providers and agree to:

• Provide accurate qualifications and credentials
• Deliver services as described in their listings
• Maintain professional standards and conduct
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Handle their own tax obligations

6. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed through Stripe. Students purchase lesson credits which are used to book sessions. Refund policies are as follows:

• Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance: Full refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance: Subject to tutor's cancellation policy
• No-shows: No refund
• Disputes: Reviewed on a case-by-case basis

7. Platform Fees

Sentuent charges platform fees on transactions. These fees are clearly displayed before completing a purchase. Fees help maintain and improve the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Sentuent or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they create but grant us a license to use it on the platform.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Circumvent payment systems or fees
• Share account credentials with others
• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract platform data

10. Disclaimers

Sentuent is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The accuracy of tutor qualifications or listings
• The quality of services provided by tutors
• Specific learning outcomes or results

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentuent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time through account settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
